The Warren Lumberjacks are getting set to open their season on August 27 in Conway against Shiloh Christian in the Simmons First/Hootens.com Kickoff Classic by conducting a scrimmage game against Stuttgart this Monday, August 20 at the home of the Ricebirds.
This will be Warren fans first time to get a game situation glimpse of the 2012 squad. The Warren Junior Jacks, lead by Head Junior High Coach Don Whittemore will feature against the Stuttgart Junior team starting at 5:30 p.m.
The Senior Lumberjacks will take on the Ricebirds immediately after the Junior High match up.
The Lumberjacks come into the season with a highly touted team that is currently ranked by Hootens Arkansas Football Magazine as the number one team in the 8-4A and number two overall in 4A State play.
The Jacks will be looking to iron out the offseason wrinkles before setting off for Conway on the 27th.
Be sure to try and make it to the scrimmage this Monday to support the Jacks. We of course urge everyone of the Orange and Black to travel to Conway on August 27 to root the guys on against Shiloh Christian.
